VHM is a dedicated small-engine machine shop, with engine rebuilding and critical machine work performed in-house. Our capabilities include cylinder boring and precision honing, valve seat cutting, fly-cutting and decking, thread repair, crankshaft rebuilding, welding and repair work, and the other specialized processes required to properly rebuild
and restore these vintage Honda engines.

VHM specializes in Honda mini-trail engine rebuilding, restoration, machine work, and performance upgrades. Builds range from stock-displacement, restoration-grade rebuilds that retain the original character of the engine, to mild performance upgrades and purpose-built 88cc–108cc performance engines. Performance options can include big-bore cylinders, high-flow cylinder heads, stroker crankshafts, and other supporting components selected to work together as a complete package.
Whether the goal is a dependable OEM-style restoration, a little more power for everyday riding, or a more serious performance build, each engine can be configured around your bike, your riding style, and your intended use.
Easy Mail-In / Mail-Out Service
You do not need to be local to have your engine rebuilt by VHM. Engines can be shipped directly to our shop and shipped back to you when the work is complete. A basic 48-quart Igloo cooler, typically available for around $28 at Walmart or similar retailers, makes a convenient, durable, and reusable shipping container for most Honda mini-trail engines.
Don't need a complete engine rebuild? VHM also offers individual mail-in/mail-out machine-shop services, including cylinder head rebuilding, cylinder boring and honing, crankshaft rebuilding, thread repair, and other specialized engine machining and repair work.
