**I work with a few bike haulers that travel the USA. This is a great option for getting your project to me and back to you when completed**
Option #1) “Original Style Restoration” Build of your personal/provided Honda bike – $6,700 cash/check – Total includes the required state of Florida taxes
Option #2) “Standard RestoMod” Build of your personal/provided Honda bike – $6,700 cash/check – Total includes the required state of Florida taxes
#1) “Original Style Restoration” Builds Are Defined As: The use of OEM parts when reasonably available or a substitution with “A” quality aftermarket components due to supply constraints/availablility & the refurbishment of existing OEM parts when possible (Re-chroming, re-zincing, metal polishing, painting/powdercoating for example). Frame finish will be accomplished with the frame components first being media blasted to the bare metal. Next, the bare metal is epoxy sealed and then either a base/clear and/or 3-stage Candy paint work is appied by a professional painter in a controlled paint booth. Paint brands used on my work are typically PPG & House of Kolors (HOK). Some components that require maximum durablity are powdercoated, such as the rims, footpeg assemblies and other any other components that are good candidates for this durable finish. Powdercoat powder is typically supplied from Prismatic Powders and applied at a dedicated powdercoating facility.
#2) “Standard RestoMod” Builds Are Defined As: Qualified as the use of your “backbone” OEM frame parts (Main frame, triple tree/forks, drum hubs and the steel swingarm) and some integration of aftermarket, bolt on parts and/or basic machining/modifications (2 Hours of custom labor included) to the original oem parts. I can work within reason on the parts, but if we are doing a “High End”** mod build, the higher associated parts cost(s) and above normal modification(s) labor involved will need to be accounted for above the “Standard” build quote (Clarification of high end parts is mentioned in the below paragraph). The RestoMod build style typically requires some form of custom harness work and/or electrical modifications. Engine selection can either be your original Honda engine (Stock displacement or up to an 88cc/V1 TBparts Race head, with an appropriate authentic Mikuni carburetor) or an option to go with an aftermarket, big bore engine swap (90-140cc displacement, with an appropriate authentic Mikuni Carburetor). Main Frame/part aesthetics can be accomplished with professional paint work and/or powdercoating. We can discuss all the details and options – There are many!
**”High End” Parts Selection Are Defined As: Qualified beyond the standard selection of parts described in the previous, above paragraph. “High End” brands would be considered: SP Takegawa (Frame & Engine parts), Kitaco (Frame & Engine parts), Daytona (Frame & Engine parts), Over Racing (Exhausts) among others. Part(s) examples would be in categories such as – Engine building components, rear swingarms, upgraded hubs & wheelsets, front triple tree components, front forks, rear shocks & up-rated braking setups. I will need to price out the components and appropriately deduct/add to the project costs as justified and agreed upon. These additional costs can be clarified in the estimate phase, before proceeding with any work or recieving any down payments.
